for the program 52.05.02 "Theatre Directing", specialization - "Drama Director" – correspondence course with the duration of training 5 years and 8 months.
The artistic director of the correspondence course is Andrey Nikolayevich Timoshenko - the chief director of the Lomonosov Drama Theatre in Arkhangelsk, the set designer;

for the program 52.05.02 "Theatre Directing", specialization - "Drama Director" – full time course with the duration of training 5 years.
The artistic director of the full-time course is a director and an actor of the Pushkin Drama Theatre in Moscow, docent of the Acting Department of The Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute Oleg Nikolayevich Pyshnenko.

Submittance of documents and entrance tests will take place in the summer!
Before the start of the entrance tests, applicants MUST pass the first audition in person.
The program for auditions should contain: a piece of prose, a fable, a poem. It is advisable to prepare several works of each genre. The works of literature should differ from each other, which makes it possible to more fully identify the abilities of the applicant. The selected literary works should be small in volume.The audition evaluates the ability to interest listeners in the performed work, reveals the ability to improvise, temperament, ability to convey the character, drama or humor of the situation.
Acceptance of documents and applications for admission to the Institute is carried out based on the results of the audition.
From April 1, 2024, access to the Applicant's Personal Account will be opened on the institute's website, by creating which the applicant can sign up for an in-person audition.

Foreign citizens applying according to the international quota of Rossotrudnichestvo should only go through "Practical Directing" Test.
An applicant can simultaneously apply for two educational programs on the level of "Specialist" under different admission conditions.
Admission to the Institute does not require a mandatory preliminary medical examination (examination).
Accommodation is provided only to full-time students enrolled on the budget basis.
Online entrance tests are not carried out.
All entrance tests are conducted in the Russian language.
