GENERAL INFORMATION ON ADMISSION

THE LANGUAGE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT TRAINING IS RUSSIAN

Foreign citizens and stateless persons have the right to receive higher education.

--- at the expense of budget allocations in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation, federal laws or the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons (hereinafter referred to as the quota for the education of foreign citizens).

The procedure for selecting foreign citizens to study in the Russian Federation within the quota, as well as the requirements imposed on them, are defined by Order No. 844 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of July 28, 2014 "On Approval of the Procedure for Selecting Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons to study within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation "(link: https://rg.ru/2014/12/17/inostranci-dok.html)

To apply for an international quota, you must contact the Rossotrudnichestvo organization in your country of residence. Electronic submission of documents for participation in the competition for the quota is possible. For more information please visit https://russia-edu.minobrnauki.gov.ru/.

--- Foreign citizens and persons without citizenship who are compatriots can study at the expense of budget allocations in accordance with the Federal law of May 24, 1999 No. 99-FZ "On state policy of the Russian Federation in respect of compatriots abroad" on the condition that they provide documents or other evidence, respectively:

- citizenship of the USSR, citizenship status or lack of it, at the time of presentation - for persons who were citizens of the USSR;

- past residence in the territory of the Russian state, the Russian Republic, the RSFSR, the USSR or the Russian Federation, the corresponding citizenship status when leaving this territory and citizenship status or lack of it at the time of presentation - for immigrants (emigrants);

- kinship in a direct ascending line with the specified persons - for the descendants of compatriots;

- residence abroad - for all specified persons.

--- Foreign citizens and persons without citizenship can also study for a fee in accordance with agreements on the provision of paid educational services.

All documents submitted to the admissions committee in a foreign language must be translated into Russian and notarized.

Documents obtained in a foreign country are provided legalized and with a certificate of recognition of a foreign education (with the exception of those countries with which agreements on mutual recognition of educational documents have been signed).

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus have the right to enter the Institute both on the basis of the results of the unified state exam and on the entrance tests conducted by the Institute independently, to places within the admission control figures, to places under contracts for the provision of paid educational services, as well as within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation. Applicants must provide a certificate indicating the results of centralized testing (hereinafter referred to as certificates). The results of the centralized testing can be taken as the results of the entrance tests conducted by the Institute independently.
