Information for foreign citizens willing to apply for studies at The Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute according to the quota for education (the international quota of Rossotrudnichestvo) - 2024.
Please note that all auditions, entrance tests, exams and subsequent training are in the Russian language. For your own convenience the level of your proficiency in Russian should be high.
Admission to study at the Institute within the quota for the education of foreign citizens is carried out for the following educational programs:
- "ACTING": full-time course with a training period of 4 years
Specialization - "Actor of drama theatre and cinema".
To carry out professional selection, from April 1, 2024, the Institute conducts preliminary auditions and qualifying rounds according to the schedule approved by the Admissions Committee.
- "THEATRE DIRECTING": correspondence course with a training period of 5 years 8 months, full-time course with a training period of 5 years.
Specialization - "Drama Director"
Before the entrance tests, in order to carry out professional selection, the Institute conducts preliminary auditions according to the schedule approved by the Admissions Committee.
- "THEATRE ART": full-time course with a training period of 2 years
Specializations:
- "Methods of teaching Acting";
- "Methods of teaching Stage Speech";
- "Methods of teaching Stage Movement";
- "Heads of school and amateur theatres".

The procedure for registering international students
The HR Department of the Institute provides assistance to foreign citizens (students) in the preparation of documents required for registration at the Federal Migration Service.
Upon arrival in the territory of the Russian Federation, the students must submit documents to the HR Department of the Institute for migration and passport and visa registration at the department of the Federal Migration Service of the Khoroshevsky district WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ARRIVAL.
When the registration and student multiple-entry visa is about to expire, the students must submit documents to the HR Department of the Institute for the extension NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE EXPIRATION OF THEIR VALIDITY.
When leaving the Russian Federation, the students must visit the Institute's HR Department and inform about their intention in person.
